In the Darkness Outside
My Headlights

by Greg Beaver-Seitz

In the darkness outside
   my headlights
Where the air is hot and
   sits perfectly still
And the frogs croak once in
  a while
On a cloudy night when the
moon and the stars are hidden
All my questions hide as I
   rush through in my car
